Gary Dale's Awesome Railroad Scale Models

HO scale - Looking at the trestle that goes over a double set of tracks and river, all custom-made from scratch. Cabooses are custom painted. Dale use to charge for his custom painting, now he only does it for his personal enjoyment.  After completing the original 12'x4' layout, Dale added a 12'x1' on the back.  That will be a lake with campground in the area seen, a grain elevator to the left and a barnyard/farm to the right.  Hey Dale, it all looks really cool!

This is looking up river from the double trestle, with the dam in the center and the sawmill to the right. There are fisherman on the dock as well as on the bank and in the row boat.  Cousins, if we promised to be REALLY careful, do you think Dale would let us come over to his house and play? Tongue out

Sharon's Pretty Ponies

Hey!  Check out that horse flesh!  Who would have thought that one of our cousins would become an equestrian?  Yep, it's Cousin Sharon and her pretty ponies.  (ATTENTION:  Click your cursor on the picture of Sharon's horses to enter her photopage.)

Charlotte's Lovely Quilts

This gorgeous quilt is a variation of a “Log Cabin” design. Using a machine, Charlotte finished quilting her creation in only a couple months. Charlotte remembers Grandma Lee-Partney possibly making quilts from the ribbons Grandpa Partney brought from the cemetery when he was caretaker.  Charlotte has started teaching one of her daughters-in-law to quilt. The torch has once again been passed.  (ATTENTION: Click your cursor on the quilt photo and visit Charlotte's photo page to see many of her lovely creations.)

Marylin's Lovely Quilts

Here is one of Marilyn’s quilts called an Ohio Star. Marilyn and Charlotte had good mentors since both their grandmothers quilted.

Here is another of Marilyn’s quilts known as a Lemone Star. Marilyn and Charlotte’s mother, Irene, also quilted. Cliff’s mother, grandmother, and aunt were quilters who encouraged Marilyn with her quilting hobby.
